“Few pictures of storm during my childhood often keep coming back to my mind. Driven by this growing passion, I was offered my first camera when I was 14. An obsessional desire to immortalise those brief moments was born and has never left me since. In 2014, I finished my Management Studies and then I was able to devote myself entirely to my passion for shooting. I started as a video maker in events dedicating my particular sensitivity to the music world. Over time, encounters and projects, I improved skills that allowed me to take opportunities in corporate videos, reports and documentaries.
2018 was a crucial year of change, some kind of major turning point in my life, a year during which my passion was confirmed. Always driven by my dedication to storms, I began a long writing phase for films, gradually drawing up the sketches of a project to come : ‘Ascension’.
At the same time, in 2019, I worked with the photographer Christophe Suarez on the movie ‘Timelapse Winterreise’. Then, from the following year, Nicolas Gascard and I worked together on several projects related to storms.
Finally, in 2020, Christophe Suarez gave me the responsibility for ‘Storm Chasers’, a reference community website aimed at people passionate about storms and associated phenomena.
At the dawn of 2021 season, Ascension, which has become my life project, is ready to take off. By now, my skills as a filmmaker and my experience as a storm chaser enable me to hold the camera firmly under the darkest clouds in order to lead this unique achievement, entirely shot in live action, to the film industry.”
“From my youngest age, music has always been my passion. I’ve attached the utmost importance to sharing the emotions it can bring to people. Music has quickly become an ally, a partner and my everything.
A composer and an electronic music producer since 2009, while keeping my natural streak as a pianist, I started to compose music for a first short movie at Hilton Hotel in Lyon and its associated project entitled ‘We Care’. Over time, experiences in advertisement for agencies of digital communication or with corporate customers seeking their own audio identity have followed one another. Through chance encounters, I was also allowed to apply my knowledge as sound engineer and arranger for artists such as Sarah Shields, Eywa de Sucha, the actor Benoît Allemane (French dubbing for Morgan Freeman). It was in 2015 that I composed and produced my first album, ‘E-Pure’ under the name of Ludovic H., a ten-track album which enabled me to show my creativity and express my eclectic and electronic music taste.
Very prolific in studio during the year 2020, I had the opportunity to take part in numerous ‘music for the image’ projects. Some of them were international, like the Westworld Scoring Contest, organised by the ‘Spitfire Audio’ sound banks creators.
My recent partnership with the film director Mathieu Brochier for ‘Prélude’ has provided me a great chance to combine my sensitivity with the powerful and contrasted images and then be able to translate this emotional energy into music. The ‘Prélude’ experience has proved to be an important step for me, a path leading to the ascent in the movie soundtrack universe.”
“As an artists’ daughter and theatre lovers’ granddaughter, I’ve always been passionate about literature and acting since my childhood. I have continually attached much importance to getting closer to both theatre and cinema worlds. Every intermediary will allow me to get up close with that universe and then start sharing and communicating laughter and emotions to others. By the way, as a child, I created my very first puppet play. Later, I did drama, improvisation and acted in short movies… My growing passion incited me to enrol at the Acting Studio High School, a course providing some acting training in order to improve myself and discover new ways to better understand and act different roles. Naturally quite shy and very sensitive, this dedication for acting has permitted me to open myself up to the world and make my sensitiveness become my strength.
‘Ascension’ came to me as a wonderful opportunity to combine the storms’ force with the power of emotions. I’ve always been moved by this force of nature which, to me, is definitely the most amazing ‘Sound and Light’ show that I may see. For me, it is a superb challenge to take up to give storms the line and to take part in transmitting their magnificence as well as all the feelings they can generate in each of us.”
